Ruby Bridges' actions and courage helped in the Civil Rights Movement. She also caused changes to be implemented in school policies.
Her story reminds us that even one person, regardless of age, gender or race, can change an entire system. Over time, her resilience helped change the opportunities that black kids recieve at school.
